History

Weller Packaging's current Chairman Mr Paul Weller first started selling paper bags to traders on Walsall market from a very old second hand "Ever Ready" van in 1968, his "warehouse" being his parents' garage. He soon built a reputation for supplying quality products at competitive prices, when people needed them.

From these very humble beginnings, Weller Paper Ltd, as it became known in 1975 moved to a purpose built warehouse on its present site in 1980. Quickly running out of space, there were two further expansions in 1985 and 1989, followed by a further name change to Weller Packaging Ltd in 2000.

2010 saw Paul Weller move from Managing Director to Chairman, making way for his son Steven to take over as Managing Director.

With the recent acquisition in 2013 of a second warehouse on the same site Weller Packaging now operate from an 80,000 sq.ft modern distribution warehouse situated in the heart of the Midlands motorway network.
